...by Pavel Spurny / Ondrejov, and Sirko Molau / Seysdorf. Two images of the bright fireball of 15 August 2006, 20:07 UT. The photograph comes from the nearest EN station #4 (Churanov) and was taken with a fisheye camera. At the bottom right is the image of the same fireball, taken with a Mintron camera and a 0.8/6mm lens in Seysdorf (MINCAM1). Unfortunately, the German all sky cameras could not record the slow fireball, which lasted about 8 seconds and reached a maximum brightness of −8m.
