Our cover picture ...
... shows a bright Lyrid. The color photo (200 ASA) was taken on 23 April 2007 from 00:52 to 0:57 UT by Sven Näther in Wilhelmshorst. Jupiter is clearly visible in the middle of the bottom edge of the picture, and Scorpius can be seen to its right. The Lyrid itself appeared in Ophiuchus.
