... shows a collage of images from the camera AKM2 obtained from mid October until December 2007. In addition to meteors, the images from the second one onwards (arrows) show the ‚new star’ in Perseus, comet 17/P Holmes, which on 24 October 2007 turned from a telescopic comet of +16m into an object of +3m through a sudden outburst in brightness. It was an easy object both for the naked eye and for our meteor cameras. (Photo: Wolfgang Hinz)
