Our cover picture ...
... is a picture by Frank Wächter and shows the trail of the ISS together with a meteor on 3 August 2008 at 22:12 CEST. This picture was taken at the Obereggerhof, south east of the Ulten valley between St. Pankraz and Proveis in South Tyrol, with a Nikon D80. Actually, the plan was only to capture the ISS in this 52s exposure. During the pass, however, this bright meteor appeared as well.
