... shows the meteorite (carbonaceous chondrite, probably CM group) on Lolland (Denmark) as it was found. On 17 January 2009 at about 20:08 CET, the Baltic Sea fireball was observed by many eyewitnesses in northern Germany and southern Scandinavia (see METEOROS 12 (2009) pp. 39 to 44). Thomas Grau has now succeeded in finding the associated meteorite on 4 March 2009 in a meadow on Lolland between Maribo and Holeby.
