... shows a drawing by Georg Krause from Neu Staßfurt depicting his observation of the fireball during the fall of the meteorite in the Magdeburg district 25 years ago. The small photo shows the meteorite that Patric Scharff found in Hohenlangenbeck after the fall of 14 November 1985. Today the meteorite bears the name ‚Salzwedel’. On this occasion, the 1st German Meteorite Colloquium takes place on 13 and 14 November 2010 in Kuhfelde and is dedicated to this meteorite fall.
