... shows a fireball on 4 May 2011 at 23:12:35 UTC over eastern Germany (see the article on page 136). The fireball had (estimated visually) a brightness of −6m ... −8m . The picture was taken by chance while photographing the Milky Way with a Canon 40D at an exposure time of 180s, ISO 800, f/4.0, 13mm (EF-S 10 to 22 f/3.5 to 4.5 USM), tracked on an HQ5. The fireball began south of Vega and ended near Gienah (Cygnus). The picture was taken in Erkner near Berlin. © Jens-Uwe Köhler, Erkner
