... shows the main mass of the Chelyabinsk meteorite fall of 15 February 2013. On 14 October 2013, after a search lasting several weeks, divers succeeded in locating the main mass, weighing about 600kg, at the bottom of Lake Chebarkul. Because of the adverse weather, however, the meteorite could only be recovered two days later. The remaining black fusion crust is clearly visible in the middle of the picture.
