Our cover picture ...
...shows a Southern Taurid photographed on 14 September 2013 at 04:01UT above the Izaña Observatory (Tenerife). The photo was taken with an f=8mm Peleng fisheye lens on a Canon EOS 20d at ISO 800. It was exposed as a series of 59s frames at 60s intervals. The absence of a persistent train was striking. Nothing can be found at that position photographically either.
