Our cover picture ...
… shows the main mass of the meteorite that fell on 10 July 2018 at 23:30 CEST near Renchen in Baden-Württemberg. This main mass weighs 955 g and was found by Ralph Sporn and Martin Neuhofer three weeks after the fall, on 31 July 2018. The picture was taken immediately after the find. Next to the meteorite, the small impact hole in which the stone landed can also be seen. (Photo: Ralph Sporn and Martin Neuhofer).
