Our cover picture ...
… shows three Perseids in a composite from the bright moonlit night of 11/12. Two more Perseids near the radiant from the (moonless) evening of the 12th can be seen in the inset on the right. Since the Perseid maximum occurred during our daytime hours, we were left with the periods before and after it for observing. All images were taken with the Canon EOS 6DII and a Sigma 3.5/8mm. ISO 3200 with Moon, ISO 4000 without Moon. Location: Wachow. Jürgen Rendtel
