Our cover picture ...
… shows the primary and (only very faintly) the secondary rainbow on 4 January 2023 at 8:20 CET, a few minutes after sunrise over the center of Berlin. The photo was taken from Haus Berlin on Straußberger Platz, looking along Karl-Marx-Allee toward Alexanderplatz with the TV tower and the Park Inn by Radisson Berlin Alexanderplatz (formerly Hotel Stadt Berlin). An extensive precipitation area with a sharp leading cloud edge crossed the capital from the west. Photo: Angela Knöfel, Berlin.
