Up there on the high mountain
the dense mists rise.
It's said that devil's work is done
by spirits that sometimes appear. The sun brightly glows in the mist,
in its pale light,
a mountain ghost eerily rises
and stretches in the rays. The shadow on the fog wall
appears with a threatening form.
As a messenger from the spirit land
it glides through the dense forest. On its dark, gloomy head
adorns a colorful crown.
Many have seen it and believed,
that a ghost dwells here.Soon the fog swallows
the sun and the shadowy figure.
Is it a blessing, is it harm,
what do the spirits bear on their shield?
